On Saturday, October 21 at 7:30 PM, the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will share the stage with local artists Narrow/Arrow, Ricky Mitchell, and Jimi Vincent. Conducted by Octavio Más-Arocas, the MSO Music Director, the evening promises a unique blend of classical and contemporary music. This one-night-only event aims to showcase the rich talent that Mansfield has to offer, making it a must-see for anyone interested in the local arts scene.

A Silent Classic Reimagined

The following day, on Sunday, October 22 at 2:30 PM, the Renaissance Theater will take its audience on a journey back in time. The theater will present the silent film classic, “The Phantom of the Opera,” accompanied by live organ music from Jay Spencer. This hybrid performance aims to offer a unique cinematic experience, blending the old with the new in a way that captivates audiences of all ages.

The Cult Classic: Rocky Horror Picture Show

Fast forward to Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 PM, and the Renaissance will transform into a haven for fans of cult classics. The theater will screen “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” a film that has garnered a massive following for its quirky blend of science fiction, horror, and musical elements. The movie, which urges viewers to “give yourself over to absolute pleasure,” promises an evening of unadulterated fun and entertainment.

After-Party Alert: A Rocky Horror Extravaganza

But the fun doesn’t stop when the credits roll. The Phoenix Brewing Company has just announced that it will host an after-party for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” The first 50 attendees to show their movie ticket and purchase a drink will receive a free souvenir pint glass. This makes for an excellent opportunity to extend the evening’s festivities and mingle with fellow fans.
