6.000 pounds of beef is a lot of cow!
That is what’s on offer this year at the 54th Annual Shiloh Ox Roast, an event that will look quite a bit different than years past — but which will taste just the same.
The normal, full lineup of food will be on hand, including sales of beef, baked beans, potato salad, hot dogs, cake, and pie — and a corn roast. All bulk orders will be in provided carryout containers; no private containers allowed. Other food vendors will also be present.
Extra seating to allow for full social distancing will be in place. This year’s Ox Roast will not include a parade, tractor pull, or rides.
Please be advised that this event is subject to the status of public health issues and/or government mandates related to COVID-19.
The fun takes place on Friday, July 24 from 11AM to 9PM on that one day only. Bulk sales take place at the fire station on Delaware Street.
