Two crimes involving break-ins at nature parks, where stolen credit cards were then used at Kroger. That’s the information that has been shared recently by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office via their Facebook page.

Their November 5 post:

The Ohio Division of Wildlife is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a smash and grab theft that occurred on October 4, 2019 at the Wellington Wildlife Area in Lorain County. The theft occurred at approximately 3:30 pm. The suspects used stolen credit cards at the Kroger located at 1060 Ashland Rd. as well as the Speedway located at 1394 Ashland Rd. in Mansfield. Investigators are asking that anyone with information call the Ohio Division of Wildlife TIP line at:
1-800-POACHER (762-2437).

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent car break in that occured on 11/5/19 at Gorman Nature Center that the suspect’s then used the victim’s credit card at Kroger on Lexington Ave.

The suspects are believed to be driving a black car.
