Richland Carousel Park is set to transform into a hub for community and mental wellness with the upcoming NAMI Resource Fair.

On May 4, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, mental health steps into the limelight, showcasing an array of resources aimed at uplifting individuals and families. This fair isn’t just about pamphlets and sign-up sheets; it’s an experiential foray into the heart of mental wellness, with activities that speak to all ages.

Interactive and informative, the educational programs by NAMI Richland County such as Family-to-Family and Crisis Intervention Team training, will take center stage. These programs, renowned for their impact, will be available for all to explore, promising enlightenment and empowerment.

With the carousel as its backdrop, the fair will be a dynamic roundtable for discussions, support group introductions, and personal stories. This is where the threads of understanding are woven into the community tapestry.

Free entry means wide-open doors to a day packed with purposeful fun. Expect carousel rides, arts and crafts, food to savor, and even whimsical touches like animal balloons—all underpinning the serious message of mental health importance.

As the Resource Fair comes to a close, the echo of its message will linger: that in Richland County, mental health is a priority, support is plentiful, and the community stands together, stronger than ever.
