The Ohio Department of Transportation has extended an invitation for the pubic is to provide comments relating to a bridge replacement project near the Richland/Ashland County line.

ODOT is proposing a complete bridge replacement located on US 42 in Ashland County at the 0.15 mile marker, just north of the Richland/Ashland County line.

The bridge replacement will require a full closure of US 42. Detour route for northbound traffic will be US 30 east to IR 71 north to US 250 west to US 42, and reverse for southbound traffic. Detour is 60 days. Proposed work for the replacement will require new right-of-way.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2019.
