The annual Holiday Pops Concert of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will perform on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre on December 16 at 8 PM. The performance, conducted by Maestro Octavio Más-Arocas and Choral Director Larry Griffin will feature a program of holiday repertoire, closing with a traditional carol sing.

The concert will feature a children’s chorus conducted by Lori Turner as well as Rusty Cates as narrator on the Holcomb arrangement of “’Twas The Night Before Christmas.” As ever, a visit from Santa Claus will take place during the concert and guests will have the opportunity to capture a photo with Santa Claus in the lobby.

“The Holiday Pops is a beloved holiday tradition for our audience. You can’t help but be put into the holiday spirit when you attend, and it’s a delight to see the Renaissance Theatre decorated for Christmas,” shares Colleen Cook, Director of Marketing at the Renaissance.

The Holiday Pops is the third concert in the 2017-2018 OhioHealth Symphony Series. It is presented with sponsorship from Mansfield Distributing and additional funding from the Barbara and George H. Keyser Donor Advised Fund of the Richland County Foundation and the Hipp Family Foundation.
