The City of Mansfield is ringing in the holiday season with its annual tradition of displaying a live Christmas tree at Carrousel Park in downtown Mansfield. This year, the city is once again reaching out to its community members, asking for donations of evergreen trees to make this festive tradition come alive.

The Ideal Tree

If you have an evergreen tree that you’d like to donate, the city has a few specifications. The tree should be at least 30 feet in height and must be located within the city limits. Accessibility is key; the tree must be situated in a location that allows for the easy handling of equipment for its removal.

How to Donate

Interested donors can contact the Mansfield Street Department at 419-755-9803 to arrange for the tree’s removal. Once the perfect tree has been identified and selected, the City Street Department will take care of cutting it down, as well as any subsequent clean-up. This includes grinding the stump and repairing any damage to the lawn, ensuring that the donation process is as seamless as possible for the generous donor.

Community Spirit in Action

The City of Mansfield Service Complex extends its heartfelt thanks in advance to all potential donors. The annual Christmas tree display is more than just a festive decoration; it’s a symbol of community spirit and unity, especially during the holiday season. The city wishes everyone a safe and joyful holiday and looks forward to lighting up Carrousel Park with a magnificent tree that represents the heart of the community.

Contact Information
