Catholic Charities is hosting the 7th Annual Richland County Consumer Resource Fair, Saturday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richland Mall, part of National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW).

30 free exhibitor spaces are available on a first-come first-served basis; an 8-foot table, table cover & 2 chairs are provided. To reserve space, contact Diane Bemiller, Catholic Charities Crisis Navigator, at 419.524.0733, ext. 228, or email [email protected].

CatholicCharities_logoParticipating organizations will provide free information on such topics as identity fraud and scams, housing information, managing money and debt, credit protection and wellness.

“Catholic Charities partners with the Ohio Attorney General’s office each year to educate and empower consumers on how to make informed financial affairs decisions,” said Rebecca Owens, Catholic Charities Regional Director. “Those most vulnerable to scams and identify theft tend to be those most in need of food, shelter and medical assistance. We do our best to be proactive in educating our community on important financial matters.”
