On Friday, August 14, Richland Public Health included the following categories and numbers in its end-of-week report:

  • Confirmed Cases — 604
  • Probable Cases — 30
  • Total Cases — 634
  • Cases With Recoveries — 541
  • Hospitalizations — 87
  • ICU Admissions — 28
  • Deaths — 13
  • Age Range — 6 months to 97 years with a median age of 43

The reported case numbers suggest that there are currently 80 active cases of COVID-19 among Richland Countians. At this time last month, that number stood at 133.

Across Ohio, those numbers stand as follows:

  • Confirmed Cases — 100,945
  • Probable Cases — 5,612
  • Total Cases — 106,557
  • Cases With Recoveries — 84,904
  • Hospitalizations —12,128
  • ICU Admissions —2743
  • Deaths — 3,784
  • Age Range — Less than one to 109 with a median age of 42
