A section of State Route 39 within the city of Mansfield will be experiencing construction activity later this month.

The portion of the route (Mulberry Street) between East 6th Street and Lafayette Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic during the project. The work involves tree clearing and waterline relocation in the vicinity of the railroad tracks.

Closure will begin on Monday, March 20 and last through Friday, March 31 and will take place during working hours.

Users of Mulberry Street are also advised that beginning on Monday, April 3, the street will close for approximately 60 days for a bridge replacement project. More information on that closure will be released in the coming days, and we will share those details on 1812Blockhouse.

Estimated completion date for these projects is August 2023.
