There is soon to be a new, expanded home for meeting the needs of the people around Richland County.
The location for the new Richland Outreach Center was the scene of activity on Thursday as a groundbreaking was held for a larger facility. Civil leaders and friends joined on the site to celebrate the Center’s new future.
Concentrating on the needs of sectors of the community which are left out of local activities because of oppression, a lack of inclusion, or poor diversity levels in schools, work places, and homes, the Richland Outreach Center’s current programming includes youth groups and wellness efforts, sports clinics, and more.
The Center is dedicated to ROC is is dedicated to finding and serving the needs of the community and serving them through non-traditional methods such as a drive, a hygiene pantry, a diaper distribution and more.
It is understood that our events, pantries, and even sports clinics come and go. However, it is the participation that the family is able to build up over the course of time and to experience community, leading to belonging and inclusiveness and joy.
The new Center is located at 415 Wayne Street in Mansfield.
The Richland Outreach Center’s mission is to serve through engaging and connecting families in educational opportunities, inclusive group activities, and improving others’ commitment to the community.
