The arrival of February brings with it the beginning of Community Health Screenings offered by Richland Public Health.

These screenings are provided by the Public Health Nursing Division in the areas of blood pressure, blood sugar, anemia, cholesterol, and in the area of health education and referrals. The only service requiring a charge is that for cholesterol, which costs $12 and requires a 9 to 12 hour fast before testing.

Locations across Richland County offer these services on a regular monthly basis in Mansfield, Butler, Lucas, and Shiloh.

For details on services, dates, times, and locations, a schedule can be accessed here.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
