On Tuesday, the City of Mansfield announced the following activities which will be held this summer in city parks:
- Liberty Pool will open on June 3 from 12:00 noon – 6:00 PM, and will remain open during those hours seven days a week
- The Summer Fun Time program will run from from June 5 to August 2.
- Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs will be held every Wednesday and Thursday between June 7 and August 3 at North Lake Park from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Fun In The Parks every Tuesday and Wednesday will run from June 13 to July 19 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Park Run at North Lake Park will be held every Saturday at 8:00 AM
- The Summer Concert Series will take place at South Park every Friday, June 30 through August 4 starting at 7:00 PM
- Safe Summer Fridays:
- June 16th at Central Park Gazebo from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- July 14th at Johns Park from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- July 21st at John Todd Park from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- August 11th at North Lake Park from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
