A local resident recently became a wee bit wealthier.

Jason Lamp of Mansfield recently won $20,510 playing KENO. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Lamp will receive $14,767.20.

He placed his winning wager at Forest Hills Golf Course, located at 2235 State Route 430 in Mansfield.

KENO is a draw game that gives players the opportunity to win every few minutes. Players choose anywhere from 1 to 10 numbers out of a pool of 80 numbers, then watch the drawing on TV monitors within Ohio at over 1,400 KENO establishments, or on their mobile devices with the Ohio Lottery app.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $30 billion to education since 1974. For more information about the Ohio Lottery and its contribution to education, visit www.ohiolottery.com/supportingeducation.
