Local Guitarist/Vocalist Henry J. Konczak is once again writing, recording and releasing original music, and just finished a video of his new song, “The Best.” “The Best” is a high-energy rock song about a talented musician trying to break through in the music industry.

Konczak, better known to his audiences as “Henry J,” is joined by his Broken Hearts Band, which includes local musicians Jai Merina, Michael Hall, and David Schmoll for this performance.

“Musicians are always being asked to play for free. This song is about not doing that!” states Konczak. “The video employs some tongue-in-cheek humor, and everyone had a great time filming it.”

Filmed on location at the Universal Unitarian Church in Bellville, Ohio, “The Best” utilized local actors which included Julie Frey-Wallace, Gabby and Maggie Wallace, Jane and Roger Price, Alexis Petroff, Sydney Genter, and Alexa Blakely. Robbie Keplar created costumes and props. Nate Lockwood of Lockwood Studios assisted with the filming. “The Best” can be found on Henry’s YouTube Channel, HJPTV, or on the web site for Random Acts of Radio at www.randomactsofradio.com.

Konczak toured full-time as a musician before starting his own video/media production company, Henry J. Productions. Henry started out in rock, and opened shows for the likes of Ted Nugent, and Bob Seger before they broke big.

Henry still plays live music locally, as well as produces Random Acts of Radio, which is also available on the TuneIn app, or at TuneIn.com. Konczak is currently working on an EP of his original music, and interested music fans can follow his work on patreon.com, by going to: www.patreon.com/henryj.
