On Thursday, October 13, the Mansfield Chapter of the American Association of University Women will launch its Used Book Sale.

Taking place in the Red Cross Community Services Garage at the corner of Third and North Diamond in downtown Mansfield (enter on Diamond), all proceeds from the event will be used for scholarships.

A special Pre-Sale will take place the evening before beginning at 7:30 PM with a $5 entry fee. On Thursday and Friday, the sale will take place between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM., and then on Saturday, a $3 “fill a bag” sale will extend from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

AAUW, founded in 1881, is open to graduates holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from qualified educational institutions that have full regional or appropriate professional association approval. The Mansfield Branch of AAUW was founded in 1934 and celebrates a strong tradition of promoting education and leadership of all women and girls.
