Many people in Richland County would agree — the best start to the Christmas season is an early visit to the Kleerview Christmas Tree Farm, for 39 years one of north central Ohio’s premier destinations for decorating your house in holiday finery.

This year is no different. Kleerview opens Monday during Thanksgiving week and will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday as well from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. After being closed on Thanksgiving, it will open again on Friday at 9:00 AM, and then until Christmas it will be open 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends.

According to the Farm’s Facebook Page, this year trees will sport new color price tags designed to help customers know the price of trees in the field before they are cut. Tagged trees will range from $40 to $60, and untagged trees from $35 to $45.

Of course, part of the fun at Kleerview Farm is what the family can do while shopping for their tree. Santa and hayrides will be on hand during Thanksgiving weekend, and the “regulars” will be at Santa’s Barnyard Express — a donkey, chickens, even piglets. There’s plenty to see and do.

Don’t miss Kleerview’s 12 live reindeer!

A plan is in place to keep customers and staff safe. Details on health guidelines being observed by Kleerview can be found here. The Kleerview Farm website with more information can be accessed here.
