Mark your calendars for July 4! The Great Duck Derby is making a splash in The Valley immediately following the Bellville July 4th parade. This exciting event, organized by Light Up The Valley, is not just about fun and games; it’s a fundraiser aimed at bringing back the beloved fireworks display in 2025.

Join the community at the bike trail bridge between Main Street and Hines Avenue for a unique and entertaining race as thousands of rubber ducks take to the water, competing for fantastic prizes.

Get Your Ducks in a Row

Purchasing a duck for the derby is easy and supports a fantastic cause. Ducks are available for $20 each and can be bought at the Light Up The Valley tent at the fireworks or 30 minutes prior to the duck drop at the bridge. Each duck purchased increases your chance of winning cash prizes while contributing to the fireworks fund.

Prizes Galore

  • 1st Place: $200
  • 2nd Place: $100
  • 3rd Place: $50

With these prizes, there’s even more reason to get involved. Imagine the thrill of watching your duck cross the finish line first and claiming the top prize!
