One of the several excellent scholarships available locally are Trade School Scholarships offered through the Richland County Foundation.

To be eligible, students must be working on post-secondary education goals involving welding, precision machining, small engine repair, bricklaying, diesel and auto mechanics, and similar trades. Students must also be a Richland County resident or a graduate from a Richland County high school who is pursuing a program at an accredited school.

Scholarship grant dollars will be sent directly to the school in August.

The deadline for applications is March 1. Click here for more information and an online application.
