Are you a bike trail rider that avoids streets because that’s where the big cars and trucks prowl? Do you have a bike that never leaves the garage because road traffic is too intimidating? Let us help you! Richland Public Health announces an upcoming on-road small group bicycle training on Tuesday, September 27, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, starting from the pavilion at South Park, Brinkerhoff Avenue, Mansfield.

Experienced and traffic-trained cyclists will help you overcome these fears through a guided easy ride-along training session. This will include understanding your rights as a cyclist, negotiating all the moving and stationary hazards on the road and discovering ways to increase every safety factor. We’ll start out on easy streets and work up to busier streets.

Come join us and learn how to take your bike anywhere you need to go!

Our group ride capacity is limited. Call Karyl Price, Richland Public Health at 419-774-4740 for more information and to reserve your space in this riding session. Click here for an informational flyer.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
