This is the third post in our current Solutions Journalism series focusing on the Westinghouse Building on Fifth Street in downtown Mansfield.

Over the last two days, we have seen photos from the interior of the building and then looked at a number of programs that connect renovation of older buildings with available funding resources.

The photos we posted on Wednesday can be read in connection with the resources posted Thursday and the story links we share today. Our goal is not to promote a specific end, but instead we hope to share a reminder that opportunity exists in almost every situation. These powerful economic tools have been used across Ohio and the country for remarkable community development projects. They can also capture resources that cannot be replicated. Below are stories of large-scale former manufacturing facilities in Ohio that have been transformed or hope to be using these tools.
