The US30 intersection with Lexington-Springmill Road continues to attract development, particularly the kind enjoyed by travelers.

By the middle of next year, another full service hotel will join the four already located in the immediate vicinity. On Thursday, civic officials joined hotel owners in a groundbreaking event with Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development.

The $8 million Holiday Inn Express will be a 99 room facility located at 1075 Guest Court in Ontario.  The location is next to Towne Hall Suites, the large building to the east of Sam’s Club immediately south of that intersection.

The new building will also offer an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center, meeting rooms, and offer a full breakfast to guests.

Owner and developer Yush Chandat’s father, Raj, who built the Towne Hall Suites next door, has additional investments in Ontario, Shelby, and Galion.
