From time to time, 1812Blockhouse will highlight social media sites with an emphasis on the north central Ohio area. From the number of these online locations, it is clear that there is great affection for Mansfield and Richland County from current and past residents.

Today, we begin with a “board” on Pinterest entitled Old Mansfield Ohio. In this collection of photos, Patrice Castillo shares community images of the past. Currently, there are some 68 pins, or posts, on the site.

The pre-cut through Central Park. Martin’s Hardware. A downtown scene after the 1913 blizzard. Join Patrice on a trip down old Mansfield streets.

The site can be accessed here.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
