The outreach for the Renaissance Performing Arts Association has expanded over the last several weeks with the launch of the Renaissance Podcast series, several of which have been featured here on 1812Blockhouse.

Joining that effort is the new Renaissance Blog: Thoughts From The Renaissance Theatre. To date, the blog has posted five posts which profile different aspects of theatre operation and other aspects of Assocation arts programming.

Those posts include:

  • A Few of Our Favorite Things: Mansfield Holiday Gift Guide (while posted in November, there are several more shopping days before Christmas for you to use these ideas).
  • Why Your Ticket Purchase Isn’t Enough (consideration of the financial aspects of theatre operation)
  • #Giving Tuesday: What is it? How do I participate?
  • Best Christmas Gift Ever: Give an Experience
  • What to Expect When You Come to the Symphony

The last of these, posted on Tuesday, is a timely look at all aspects of attending a performance of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra at the Renaissance. Timely, that is, as this weekend brings the MSO’s traditional Holiday Pops.

The blog can be accessed here. Information about Saturday and Sunday’s Holiday Pops can be found here.
