The high number of COVID-19 cases in Richland County continues to have an impact on how business is transacted and lives are led.

This past week, these numbers resulted in Richland County being elevated to the highest level on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System. An update on those statistics will be shared on Thursday.

In addition to the Mansfield Municipal Building and several local schools, the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library has joined the list of facilities that are now closed to the public.

Following recommendations of RIchland Public Health and consistent with the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health, the decision was made to stop all in-person services at seven Library locations.

This will be effective on Monday, December 7. The Crestview Branch was closed on Monday, November 30, and has no current services.

Curbside services will be available at all other branches, including the Main Library in downtown Mansfield, during the following hours:

  • Monday through Thursday 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Friday 10 AM – 5 PM
  • Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM

The Library COVID Response Plan can be accessed here.
