The Ohio State University has released its annual enrollment report, covering both its main campus and its regional campuses including OSU Mansfield.
It its release, M. Dolan Evanovich, Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Planning, shared several overall statistics. Noting that the first year retention rate is now at 94.2%, the report said that the current Freshman class came into OSU with an 29.1 average ACT composite, and 63% in the top 10% of their high school class. Minority enrollment is also up – by some 11% to a total of 12,314 on all campuses.
Total enrollment on all OSU campuses reached an all-time high of 66,046.
The number of freshman enrolling this year at OSU Mansfield was 444. The following numbers were seen at other campuses:
ATI/Wooster – 308
Columbus – 7,885
Lima – 378
Marion – 398
Newark – 1,268
At the Columbus campus, the College of Arts & Sciences continues to have the largest number of students. 16,387 are enrolled there as compared to the next highest enrollment, 8,652 in the College of Engineering & Architecture.
