A Shootout with the Foster Gang in Shelby


In November of 1883, some of the most notorious bandits in the area came through Richland County. Five Members of the Foster Gang, who terrorized northern Ohio and southern Michigan, had just attempted to blow a safe in New Washington, Crawford County, Ohio the night of November 29, 1883.
