In 2018, the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce convened a task force, made up of a diverse group of the Chamber’s current members, to help craft a new membership dues structure. After months of effort, the Chamber is ready to unveil the new system at an information session on Friday, January 24 at Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield from 8:00 AM to 9:00.

Members and those interested in membership can register online to attend here; there is no cost, however seating is limited.

The new model is value-based and designed to better meet the needs of the Chamber’s diverse group of members, which consist of area businesses and organizations. There will be added programming and benefits, all designed with the members in mind. The Chamber has had some early adopters testing out the new model, and they have been supportive, so they are excited to fully implement the model for all members.

As shared on their website, the mission of the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce is to:

  • Be a leading advocate and catalyst for economic and business success in the Mansfield and Richland County Area
  • Provide quality services that give each of our members a competitive advantage and
  • Enhance the value of our communities as places to live, work and invest.
