We don’t want to rush right by the Thanksgiving holiday that is less than a week away, but we are excited that December is around the corner and brings with it the annual Holidays Pops concert at the Renaissance Theatre.

The sounds of the season will come alive as The Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus present their holiday concert on Saturday, December 14 at 8:00 PM. Under the direction of Octavio Más-Arocas, the concert features a mix of contemporary and classic holiday repertoire with the ever popular carol sing!

The program will captivate by featuring selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker ballet, When Icicles Hang by John Rutter, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, and many more.  The evening will end with audience joining in during the carol sing-along, filling the entire theater with song.

Tickets are on sale now for this concert at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at (419) 522-2726, and online at RenTickets.org. A limited number of $50 Family Four Pack tickets as well as $10 student tickets are available for this event only by visiting or calling the Renaissance Box Office. Full-price tickets range from $15 to $40.

The Mansfield Symphony’s “Holiday Pops” concert is presented as part of the OhioHealth Symphony Series, sponsored by Metronome Music and RFME Insurance, and is in part thanks to funding from the Ohio Arts Council.

On Small Business Saturday (November 30), the Renaissance offering 20% off tickets and gift certificates purchased from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Those interested should either call or visit the box office for this deal.
