Take a few moments on Wednesday evening to experience a trip both to the past and to the future.

The Richland County Historical Society is welcoming guests to the newly renovated Carriage House, across the street from Oak Hill Cottage. The facility has been transformed and now offers larger meeting space that will assist the Society with meetings and other events for years to come.

On display will be a 1903 Herring buggy, made in Mansfield, and recently donated to the Society.

After a meet and greet with ice cream and other period treats, historian Brett Dunbar will showcase his illustrated street car ride around the streets of Mansfield near the turn of the last century.

The event begins at 7:30 PM, and the presentation will start at 7:45 PM.
