It has been said that “all things comes to those who wait.” While that might not be universally true, it certainly is this summer in Greensboro, North Carolina.

As shared by a story published this past weekend on Greensboro.com, online home of the Greensboro News & Record, that city will enjoy the official opening of the country’s newest carousel. And, as we have written about on two previous occasions, that new attraction is a creation of Carousel Works in Mansfield.

In January, we shared an update of a July 2017 post talking about the $3 million project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Greensboro, together with a link to a story featuring a construction slideshow.

In the most recent article, it is noted that this will not only be the largest carousel in North Carolina, but also one of the largest in the country. It has taken some 13 years to reach this point.

The story can be read here.
