An insightful and powerful course on supporting loved ones dealing with mental illness will take place this summer at the North End Community Improvement Collaborative’s (NECIC) home in downtown Mansfield.

The free, 12-week course is taught by trained National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) members who have lived with this experience and offers education and support for families and friends of people with mental illness. The course teaches the knowledge and skills family members need to cope more effectively.

Many describe the impact of this program as life changing. Join the over 150,000 individuals just like you who have gained information, insight, understanding, and empowerment.

The class begins on June 6 and continues each Thursday for 12 weeks.

Classes fill up quickly so get registered by calling NAMI of Richland county at 419-522-6264. Visit the Facebook event HERE to see more and a list of all dates.
