The Renaissance Performing Arts Association’s new performance space, Theatre 166, will present its final production, The Last Act, on May 17 & 18 at 8:00 PM, and May 19 at 2:30 PM. The Last Act is part of the Richland Bank Broadway Series.

Written and directed by Michael Thomas (pictured), this original musical comedy explores and celebrates the urge to triumph in the face of adversity. Overcoming all odds – and despite any visible trace of talent – a delusional, quixotic director, an over-the-hill television star and a slapdash crew of oddballs and misfits claw their way to the bottom as they perform what is possibly the worst musical ever written. The Last Act is a musical of disastrous proportions and will have you in stitches from start to finish.

Starring Suzanne Bouchard, the other cast members include Maddie Beer, Kenneth Harvey, Stephanie Hayslip, Colton Penwell, Jacob Poiner, Ryan Shreve, and Lori Turner.

Tickets are $28 and are on sale now at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at (419) 522-2726, and online at MansfieldTickets.com.
