NOTE: The following press release was received on Monday from the candidate.

Joel Vega has announced that he is running for Mansfield City Council – At Large on the Democratic ballot, in 2019.

Mr. Vega is an educator and entrepreneur. Joel moved back to Mansfield in 2012 to raise his family, be near relatives, and start a performing arts business. He graduated from Madison HS in 1997. He has taught music at Ohio State University – Mansfield, North Central State College, and The College of Wooster. Vega is currently raising a proud Mansfield Tyger freshman.

Having lived all over the country in the last twenty years while a professional musician and student, Mr. Vega aims to promote Mansfield as the single best area for small city life, business, and the arts in the country.

He will have regular and advertised open office hours, as well as actively seeking out the opinions and hopes of Mansfield residents in all 6 wards equally.
