The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will meet at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the Dutton Community Room at Mansfield Senior High School.

District administrators will respond to a 74-page report by the Ohio Department of Education’s Center for Accountability and Continuous Improvement. After a weeklong visit in the district last November, ODE issued the report, detailing recommendations geared to “establishing or strengthening a cycle of continuous improvement.”

In other business, Treasurer Robert Kuehnle will ask board approval of resolutions of necessity for renewal of two levies approved by voters in 2013. The renewals will be placed on the May 2 ballot. Neither would increase taxes. The board also is scheduled to have an initial discussion regarding the one-year appointment of a non-voting student representative on the board.
