The recent “Haunted and Hollywood” press tour presented by the Mansfield/Richland County Convention and Visitors Bureau continues to produce interesting writing weeks after it took place.
Case in point – on Saturday, a story entitled “Mansfield Area Entrepreneurs Put Heart Into Work” was published in The Intelligencer and News-Register in Wheeling, West Virginia. Written by Phyllis Sigal, Design Editor, the post is a follow-up from her visit to Richland County (the first post can be read here) which looked at area attractions. This time, Sigal concentrated her focus on the people behind those tourism assets.
Included in her look are Paul Smith of the Ohio State Reformatory; Scott Schaut of the Mansfield Memorial Museum; visionary property owner and developer John Fernyak; Sharon Bishop of Richland Carrousel Park; Ben Bissman, owner of the Bissman Building; Steve and Lisa Beilstein of The Blueberry Patch; Cassie Swisher of the Wishmaker House Bed & Breakfast; Ken Dudley, owner of Laxton Hollow Brewing Works; and Paul Smith of The Happy Grape.
Sigal’s wonderful article can be read here.
