It’s over halfway through the 2016 football season, and teams from Richland County are included in the current OSHAA computer football rankings. On October 30, the final ranking will be released, at which time the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs.
This week’s rankings include the following:
- Mansfield Senior – Ranked 9th in Division 2 Region 7
- Lexington – Ranked 10th in Division 3 Region 10
- Mansfield Madison – Ranked 20th in Division 3 Region 10
- Shelby – Ranked 5th in Division 4 Region 15
- Ontario – Ranked 13th in Division 4 Region 15
This Friday, Madison hosts Clear Fork; Shelby hosts Tiffin Columbian; and Ontario hosts Willard. Mansfield Senior travels to West Holmes, while Lexington plays Wooster at the Generals’ home field.
