Food, door prizes and classroom activities will be on tap during Malabar Intermediate School’s annual “Malaboo” math and literacy celebration on Thursday, October 19.

Many students will join staff in Halloween costumes.

The cafeteria menu from 5:30 to 6 PM will include Swedish meatballs, chili dogs, cookies and drinks. Classroom visits at 6 PM will feature family math and literacy activities. The planetarium will be open.

Door-prize drawings at 7 PM will include gift cards and free passes from several donors, including Richland Carrousel Park, Mansfield Area YMCA, Meijer and Gionino’s Pizzeria.
