If fall brings college football, then fall begins in just a few weeks.
Preparations are already underway for the coming season, including the 2023 Big Ten Football Media Days. The Big Ten Conference has now announced the complete list of students scheduled to attend the event presented by Old National Bank, to be held Wednesday and Thursday, July 26 and 27, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The trio of representatives from The Ohio State University include a Richland Countian.
There will be some new faces at Media Days, as Wisconsin, Nebraska, Purdue, and Northwestern will have new coaches at the helm.
Lexington High School alum Cade Stover will be one of OSU’s representatives, joining teammates JT Tuimoloau and Marvin Harrison Jr. and, of course, Coach Ryan Day.
Stover, a team captain in 2022, is also expected to receive similar honors in 2023. He started all 13 games for the Buckeyes last season, catching 36 passes for 406 yards and five touchdowns. His reception and yardage totals were the highest by an Ohio State tight end in nearly three decades, a record previously held by Rickey Dudley in 1995.
The Buckeyes open the season at home on September 2 against the Indiana Hoosiers.
