By 1812Blockhouse

We’re getting ready to bring back some of our favorite 1812Blockhouse series as part of our new, improved, and continuously updating site.

That includes:

  • “When Mansfield Welcomed,” spotlighting famous visitors to this part of Ohio
  • “Everything You Always Wanted To Know About,” highlighting attractions, places, organizations, and other parts of Richland County life

It also includes “Landmarks of Mansfield” and “Landmarks of Richland,” which tell the stories of buildings, statues, and other sites that reflect our shared heritage and make this place truly unique.

We’d love your help shaping what comes next.

If there’s a particular building anywhere in Richland County you’d like to see researched and featured, send us a message on Facebook (1812Blockhouse) or email 1812blockhouse@gmail.com.

We’ll do our best to tell its story and, in so doing, tell the story of this wonderful part of Ohio.
