The most recent snow report from Ohio’s premier skiing venue, Snow Trails, might well generate a small cheer from local and Ohio skiers.
The report, posted on Wednesday, shares:
“The Snowmaking System has been running since early Monday evening! Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Crews have been at this Snowmaking Campaign for 44 hours straight, and are still going!
Even if temps warm this afternoon and we’re forced to shut the system down, it is forecasted to be back down in the right temperature range for snowmaking tonight into Thursday morning. We’ll keep pushing!
The warm-up and precipitation coming this weekend will require us to leave in stockpiles for now. Opening Day is still to be determined. We hope the forecast trends in our favor into next week, so we can get you out here having fun real soon!
Snowmaking Campaigns will continue anytime temps dip for extended periods of time as we make our way through this Pre-Season leading-up to our 61st Winter Season!
We are excited to welcome you out to enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Tubing. Please stay tuned.”
