The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center will host a hiring fair for client and partner school districts at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, located at 890 West Fourth Street. The event is being held on Tuesday, April 2nd and will focus on hiring licensed K-12 educators and related services professionals.

The event will be open to all current college students and recent graduates and provide an opportunity for candidates to network with local employers. Employers should be prepared to interview for open positions and hire candidates during the event.

The schedule will be as follows:

8:30 – 9:00 AM            Recruiter Check-in

8:45 – 9:00 AM            Candidate Check-in

9:00 – 9:45 AM            Open Fair

10:00 – 12:00 PM        AM Interviews

12:00 – 1:00 PM          Lunch (not provided)

1:00 – 3:00 PM          PM Interviews

Jennifer Reed, Mid-Ohio ESC’s Director of Human Resources, said this event is meant to draw new educators and support staff to the area where the need has been great. “We want to help districts find the staff they need by centralizing the search. Our goal is to bring in those qualified candidates who are excited about working right here in Mid-Ohio.”  

Participants in the hiring fair must hold current education licensure by August 1, 2024, be eligible to accept new employment at the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, have a cover letter, resume, and a list of professional references for employers, and be prepared to accept employment opportunities. Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts and over 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
