Waymann Washington, an inmate at Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield, was profiled this past weekend on NPR’s All Things Considered in a piece entitled “Earning A 2-Year Degree While Serving A 6-Year Sentence.”

Washington and several other inmates at RCI are taking college courses in conjunction with Ashland University. The piece relates the history of Pell Grant availability for prisoners across America.
