The Ohio State Reformatory (OSR) is gearing up for the fifth annual ParaPsyCon, offering attendees a thrilling mix of the supernatural and the historical from Friday, May 17, through Sunday, May 19. This unique event brings together enthusiasts of the paranormal, including psychics, ghost hunters, and UFO researchers, in one of Ohio’s most hauntingly iconic locations.

A Gathering of Mystics and Legends

ParaPsyCon V promises an extraordinary lineup, featuring not only psychics and paranormal teams but also celebrities, Bigfoot experts, and UFO investigators. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore over 90 vendor tables selling items like stones, crystals, jewelry, and tarot cards. This year’s convention will also introduce Hearsemania, adding an eccentric flair with a display of classic hearses.

Charitable Spirit at the Heart of the Con

In the spirit of community support, ParaPsyCon encourages each attendee to contribute to those in need by bringing non-perishable food items or pet supplies. These donations will benefit local food banks and animal shelters, integrating charitable giving into the weekend’s activities.

Exclusive Events and Paranormal Adventures

The weekend kicks off on Friday night with a VIP Meet n’ Greet from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, providing a chance for intimate interaction with special guests—though a ticket is required for entry. The main event spans over two days, with general OSR admission required to participate in the daytime activities from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.

For those daring enough, a Celebrity Ghost Hunt will take place late Saturday night, running from 8:30 PM until 2:30 AM. This exclusive event offers a spine-tingling exploration of the reformatory’s ghostly presences, with ticket purchase necessary for participation.

Explore and Discover

The Ohio State Reformatory’s rich history and notorious paranormal activity are central to the ParaPsyCon experience. Attendees are invited to take self-guided walking tours of the prison, learning about its cinematic fame in movies like The Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One, and exploring the reported ghostly sightings.

Supporting OSR

All profits from ParaPsyCon are reinvested into the maintenance and restoration of the Ohio State Reformatory. This ensures that the reformatory can continue to offer these unique experiences while preserving its historic significance. The OSR Museum Store will also be open, selling merchandise like shirts, books, and other memorabilia to support this cause.
