What follows are new area road projects and updates on current road projects as released by ODOT District 3:

ASHLAND COUNTY

State Route 58 ***UPDATE***
SR 58, between SR 302 and CR 500, is closed for eight consecutive culvert replacements. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 58 to SR 302, east on SR 302 to SR 89, north on SR 89 to SR 58, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen October 2017.

CRAWFORD COUNTY

State Route 19 ***NEW***
SR 19, from the City of Bucyrus to SR 4, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as needed. The project is expected to be complete April 2018.

US Route 30 ***UPDATE***
US 30, between Twp. Rd. 16 and Lower Leesville Rd., will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a bridge maintenance project. One 12’ lane of traffic will be maintained at all times throughout the duration of the project. There will be reduced traffic speeds on US 30 from Tiffin St. to Lower Leesville Rd. Please use caution when navigating through the work zone. The project is expected to be complete November 2017.

State Route 98 ***UPDATE***
SR 98, from US 30 to Dickson Rd., will open both lanes of traffic. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as crews close down the project. The project is shutting down for the season due to weather conflicts. The resurfacing project will resume May 2018.

RICHLAND COUNTY

US Route 30 ***UPDATE***
US 30, in Mansfield at the I-71 and US 30 interchange, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for maintenance repairs. Night work continues from 7pm-6am on US 30 from SR 309 to Fifth Ave. Ramp E, for US 30 eastbound to I-71 northbound, is closed for maintenance repairs. Traffic will continue to Koogle Rd. exit and then head north onto I-71 northbound ramp. Ramp E is expected to reopen September 27th; however, all work is weather dependent. The entire project is expected to be complete October 2017.

State Route 96 ***UPDATE***
SR 96, from the City of Shelby to SR 13, will open both lanes of traffic. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as crews close down the project. The project is shutting down for the season due to weather conflicts. The resurfacing project will resume May 2018.

County Road 371 ***NEW***
CR 371 (Union St.), south of Pleasant St. in Lucas, will close Monday, September 11 for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is CR 371 (Union St.) to SR 39, east on SR 39 to Broad/Lucas-Perryville Rd., southeast on Broad/Lucas-Perryville Rd. to Dickes Rd., west on Dickes Rd. to Moffet Rd., north on Moffet Rd. to S. Union St., and reverse for southbound motorists. The project is expected to be complete November 2017.
