The 14th Annual Kingwood 5K Run or Walk is right around the corner! If you want to secure an official race day t-shirt, make sure to register by May 28. This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, June 8 at 9:00 AM. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the fun and enjoy a scenic route starting in front of Kingwood Hall, winding through the beautiful Gardens, and along the Richland B&O Bike Trail.

Race Day Details

The Kingwood 5K is not just a race; it’s an event that benefits Kingwood’s mission of providing transformative experiences and fostering enriching connections between people and nature. Here’s what you need to know about the race day:

Course and Timing
  • Start Time: 9:00 AM
  • Course: The race begins in front of Kingwood Hall, navigates through the Gardens, and continues along the Richland B&O Bike Trail.
  • Timing: The race is chip-timed to ensure accurate results for all participants.
Post-Race Festivities
  • Award Ceremony: Held in the Courtyard immediately after the race.
  • Activities: Participants can enjoy shopping at the Garden & Gift Shop, dining at the Gateway Café, and free admission to the gardens for a post-race stroll.
  • Parking: Please park in Kingwood’s Trimble Road parking lot and enter through the Garden Gateway visitor center.
Pet Policy

While we understand many participants love to run or walk with their dogs, please note that only certified service dogs are permitted at Kingwood.
