The Harmony House homeless shelter will have its annual “Sleep-out for the Homeless” Friday and Saturday at the Walmart on Lexington-Springmill road in Ontario.

Some of the more than 200 homeless students in Mansfield City Schools reside at Harmony House.

The sleep-out will begin at 10 AM on Friday and continue until 10 AM on Saturday. Volunteers are welcome but must provide their own cardboard box and a completed pledge sheet. Anyone 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Donations of money, food and supplies can be dropped off anytime during the 24-hour period. Harmony House especially needs 3 T’s trash bags, toilet tissue and towels.

Volunteers also will collect donations of funds and supplies at the Walmart on Possum Run Road from 10 AM to 10 PM on Friday but there will be no sleep-out there.

For more information contact Harmony House at 419-522-2283.
