Buckeye Imagination Museum’s Legacy

Founded as “Little Buckeye Children’s Museum” in April 2011, Buckeye Imagination Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located halfway between Cleveland and Columbus in Mansfield. The museum is dedicated to providing hands-on, play-based experiences, ideally catering to family and school visits with children ages 2-10 years. Exhibits encourage imagination-based play, allowing children to discover dinosaurs, fight fires, pilot planes, and more.

The Museum’s  new location features free on-site parking, complete ADA accessibility, and over 32,000 square feet of space. Brand new exhibits feature many of the same themes kids already know and love from the previous location with new additions to enhance their experience.

Emphasis on Exploration, Play, and Development

Understanding the critical role of exploration and play in child development, Buckeye Imagination Museum strives to offer unique, open-ended, and self-directed play experiences. These activities promote creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, social-emotional skills, motor skills, parent-child interaction, and more, serving as an integral part of children’s growth.

With the launch of this engaging new exhibit, Buckeye Imagination Museum continues its mission to inspire creativity and intellectual curiosity in children of various age groups. The community’s support and the array of activities available ensure a memorable experience for all visitors.
