Mansfield’s Sister City in the United Kingdom is about to go under the spotlight.
Not necessarily a good thing in this case.
A four-part drama from HBO and Sky is arriving soon to a video screen near you. Called “Landscapers,” it centers on a true story — the murder of a Mansfield, England couple in 1998. Told that they had gone away on vacation, the bodies of the reclusive husband and wife were eventually found in their backyard.
The killers? Let’s just say that that provided a big surprise that is revealed in the short series.
Landscapers has an powerful cast including Academy Award winner Olivia Colman and Harry Potter veteran David Thewlis.
The first episode will appear on HBO on December 9 at 9 PM, with the three subsequent episodes airing on successful Monday evenings at the same time.
