What is happening locally is being watched — and recognized — nationally.

In an announcement on their website, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives has announced finalists for the 2023 Chamber of the Year Award. That award is given annually in four categories based on community size.

The three finalists in Category Two are:

North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce – Fitchburg, Mass.
Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development – Mansfield, Ohio
Winter Park Chamber of Commerce – Winter Park, Fla.

“Chamber of the Year recognizes the leadership role chambers of commerce have in their communities. Those honored with the designation have demonstrated organizational strength and made an impact on key community priorities, such as education, transportation, economic prosperity and quality of life,” the announcement reads.

“This year’s finalists truly represent excellence in the chamber industry,” said ACCE President & CEO Sheree Anne Kelly. “Through their roles as community partners, thought leaders and innovative problem solvers, each has demonstrated what it means to be a catalyst for growth and regional prosperity. We congratulate them on this achievement.”

Winners will be announced on August 1 during the organization’s Annual Convention, held this year in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sharing the news on its Facebook Page, the local Chamber shared, “Join in the celebration! Share your excitement using the hashtag #RichlandRocks, because we truly believe we have something special here. This finalist spot is a testament to the unity and collaboration that defines our community. Together, we’re making Mansfield and Richland County an even better place to live, work, and thrive.”

Congrats, Chamber!
